Former Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has passionately declared her unwavering support for her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, stating that if no one will trumpet his achievements, she will proudly do it herself.
Addressing a gathering of enthusiastic New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters, Samira emphasized her commitment to engaging with the grassroots to amplify the legacy and vision of her husband, who she hopes will become Ghana’s next president.
“My husband is a man of substance,” she told the cheering crowd. “As Vice President, he worked tirelessly for the good of this country, and I believe he will do even more when allowed to lead as President.”
Samira Bawumia praised Dr. Bawumia’s track record in public service, saying his performance as Vice President stands above any of his predecessors. She expressed confidence that his leadership, if given the mandate, would bring meaningful progress to Ghana.
“Ghana has had many vice presidents, but none have matched Dr. Bawumia’s dedication and impact. He is the best we’ve ever had,” she declared with conviction.
Her remarks come as part of ongoing efforts to energize the party base ahead of the 2024 elections, with Samira Bawumia playing an increasingly active role in grassroots mobilization.
With passion and pride, she concluded, “If no one will blow his trumpet, I will — because I have seen firsthand the depth of his commitment and the strength of his vision for Ghana.”
